Mark Zuckerberg, isn't.

Anyone semi-interested in Marketing knows today's Marketing Guru, Seth Godin.

Seth had such a great point the other day in this post: "Mark Zuckerberg isn't Mark Zuckerberg"

Excerpt: "'Mark Zuckerberg' has become a codeword for the truly gifted exception, the wunderkind freak of nature for whom traditional rules don't apply."

Personally, I think everyone refers to Mark Zuckerberg because then you get to say the word "Zuckerberg".

Go on, say it again: Zzzzzuckerberg.

Seth's bang-on.  There wasn't some cosmic aligning of the stars to make him who he was, as Seth said, he made a million small choices.

So often when you put people up on pedestals, you're selling yourself short.

Make the choice not to do nothing anymore.  You can't sit back and wait for someone to build something that inspires you.

Have you considered there might be some people out there waiting for you to lead them
